Not surprisingly, Sex and the City ruled at the box office this weekend, with Indiana Jones a close second. For an R-rated chick-flick, I thought Sex did pretty well, considering its nearly-exclusive female audience. Here are the numbers from Box Office Mojo:
-Sex and the City: $56.84M
-Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: $44.75M
-The Strangers: $20.99M
-Iron Man: $13.54M
-The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian: $12.70M
-What Happens in Vegas: $6.68M
-Speed Racer: $2.25M
-Baby Mama: $2.19M
-Made of Honor: $1.91M
-Forgetting Sarah Marshall: $1.05M
