Does the Avatar trailer make you want to see the movie?

Maybe I’m just not in the right mood. Maybe I need to see more before passing judgment. But the trailer for James Cameron’s “Avatar” doesn’t really do much for me. At this point, it looks big on special effects, but not much else. But again, it’s just a trailer. Check it out below and let me know your thoughts.

According to the official “Avatar” site, the story begins on the distant moon Pandora, where “a reluctant hero embarks on a journey of redemption and discovery as he leads a heroic battle to save a civilization.” The cast is pretty impressive: Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana and CCH Pounder, to name a few. It opens in theaters Dec. 18, 2009.
