DVD Giveaway: "No Country For Old Men"
“No Country For Old Men” comes out on DVD next week, March 11. The movie — I like to call it beautifully bleak — snagged a slew of Oscars this year, including wins for Javier Bardem (Best Supporting Actor), Joel and Ethan Coen (Best Writing and Directing), and Best Picture.
The Giveaway: I have one copy of the “No Country For Old Men” DVD to give away. To enter the contest, simply leave a comment on this post by midnight on Saturday, March 15, 2008. Be sure to include a valid email address. Winner will be drawn randomly. I’ll email the winner for their snail-mail address after the contest ends. Good luck!

Both my boyfriend and I agree that No Country for Old Men is one of, or perhaps the best made movie ever. I could go on and on. The scenery is amazing. The casting was done perfectly. This movie is the most scary movie that I have ever seen in that Anton Sugar’s character implies an impending doom that none of us can escape. There are so many life pondering metaphors in this movie as well. I love the movie. I am very happy that it won best picture, I would have lost all faith in the Academy Awards if it had not.
