DVD Giveaway: There Will Be Blood
The DVD: Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, There Will Be Blood is the intense story about Daniel Plainview (Oscar-winner Daniel Day-Lewis), an oil guy who’s looking for prospects in California at the turn of the 20th century. He’s challenged by a young preacher, Eli Sunday (Paul Dano), who has his own power-hungry ambitions.

I’d love a copy. I don’t understand the Paul Dano hate. I thought he was very good in this. They didn’t age him enough for the bowling alley scene but that’s not his fault.

Mr. Lewis is, in my humble opinion, the best actor there is. My husband and I rented “There will Be Blood” one night and we were mesmirized by his performance; and to think he stays in character between scenes is just amazing! We would love to own this movie!

This is another example of films that people should see. It’s really too bad that these films are often misunderstood, just because they are more authentic, allegorical, and most of all, important.
