"Four Christmases" Preview & Trailer

by Jane Boursaw on September 13th, 2008

The trailer for Four Christmases is now available and posted below for your viewing enjoyment. I just hope it’s not another couples-fighting-badly flick a la The Break-Up. After a half-hour of that, I just wanted Vince Vaughn and Jen Aniston to chill out.

More after the jump…

Based on the trailer, Four Christmases looks better (although I liked the trailer for The Break-Up, so that’s not always a good indication).

It follows the story of upscale, happily unmarried San Francisco couple Kate (Reese Witherspoon) and Brad (Vince Vaughn) find themselves socked in by fog on Christmas morning, their exotic vacation plans morph into a family-centric holiday they’d hoped to avoid. As Brad counts the hours until he can escape from their parents, step-parents, siblings and assorted nieces and nephews, Kate is starting to hear the ticking of a different clock.

Directed by Seth Gordon, the movie also stars Robert Duvall, Kristin Chenoweth, Jon Favreau, Sissy Spacek, and Mary Steenburgen. It’s not rated yet, but I’m guessing it’ll be PG-13. In theaters Nov. 26, 2008.

I don’t know what it is with me and guys with “Favre” in their name. i adore former (ugh) Green Bay Packer quarterback Brett Favre and I love Jon Favreau. LOL I saw the trailer on this for the first time this weekend and thought it looked funny. Let’s hope it lives up to it!

I’m really looking forward to this movie and hoping it will be good! I’m a big fan of Reese Witherspoon and Jon Favreau, and even more so of Kristin Chenoweth — I just adore her.
