LaBeouf Talks "Transformers 2"
Shia LaBeouf is prepped and ready for “Transformers 2,” and talked to Empire Online earlier this week about meeting with director Michael Bay.
“I know of a few things I have to work on for the next one,” said LaBeouf. “I’ve seen pre-vizes of the action scenes, and I just saw Michael yesterday. It’s going to be bad-ass. We’re not making another one unless it is, and Mike is definitely not resting on his laurels.”
LaBeouf said there’s going to be a lot more characterization with the robots, and a lot of action. “It’s insane. Mike’s mind was just kind of made for this — it’s amazing.”
The movie is set to begin filming in less than four months, with a June 26, 2009 release. While LaBeouf can’t reveal details, he said there will be new robots on both sides. “I can say that the war isn’t over… It’s hard to do interviews when you’re not allowed to talk about the movies. It’s like I give two or three things away and then I get reprimanded for it.”
I loved the first “Transformers” movie and await this one with glee. It doesn’t hurt that I’m a huge fan of LaBeouf. I knew he’d be a huge star when I saw him in “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” And, oh yeah, he’s got that “Indiana Jones” thing going.

Sorry, I can’t get excited about this movie. I’m sick of Michael Bay, and I have an extreme dislike for this Shia person who seems to be getting all the cool roles. I am saddened that he is in the new Indiana Jones movie-of course I do not think the new Indy will be very good, but whatever hopes i had for it are being dashed on th
