Poll: Which Summer Movie Are You Geeked About?
There are some pretty awesome movies rocking theaters this summer. Check out my list here. Of course, we’ve already had Iron Man, Indiana Jones, and Sex and the City, all of which I loved. Of the remaining movies, I’m most excited to see The Incredible Hulk (two days and counting!), followed by Wall*E, Hancock, and The Dark Knight.
What about you?
Which summer movie are you most geeked to see?

I can’t wait to see The Happening-the new one by M. Night Shamalamdingdong (I know that’s not his name, but I just can’t resist calling him that). A movie by him with Marky Mark (okay, I know it’s Mark Walberg), what could be better?
I’m also a bit psyched about The Incredible Hulk…

Shamalamdingdong…ha! Too funny, Wojo.
Well, I LOVE Wahlberg, too, and while I’m usually not much for horror movies, resistance will be futile. I’ll be seeing The Happening and will post a review this weekend.
Lisa - We’re so psyched for Wall*E it’s ridiculous!

TDK will be awesome, but I’m really looking forward to Pineapple Express too. And while I really liked his first few, I think I’ll keep skipping Shamalama’s latest.

Michelle, that’s what we call M. Night, too! We’re looking forward to his movie, but we were just talking the other night that’s it’s almost like we have a bit of an abusive relationship with him. I LOVED The Sixth Sense. My roommate LOVED Unbreakable. We’re such geeks for these movies that we keep giving M. Night chance after chance after chance and he keeps breaking our hearts with bad movies. And yet, we’re ready to go see the new one on the off chance that maybe we’ll finally be rewarded for hanging in there with him. We’ll see!

I’ve been dying to see Get Smart since I heard Steve Carell was playing Max. I think that’s the most inspired casting I’ve heard of in a long time!
I didn’t realize that X-Files had a new flick coming out, so I’m thrilled to hear about that one. I’ve never heard of Pineapple Express.
After rarely seeing the inside of a movie theater for the last several years, one of my summer goals is to see a film every week, and this list tells me I’ve picked a good year to do it!

Hi Elizabeth - Thanks for the note. Awesome goal of seeing one movie a week! Let me know if you post about it on Embrace Adventure, and I’ll post a link. (You’re actually coming up on my ongoing Blogathon :-)
Yeah, Get Smart is definitely a must-see for the summer. I just hope Steve Carell does a great job, so it’s not a let-down. I can’t think of a better person to play that role, and can’t imagine he’d be anything less than stellar.

Had to really think hard between Hancock and The Dark Knight. Ended up with TDK because I’m a geek for Batman movies. But, I am definitely looking forward to Hancock too. :)
