Preview & Trailer: "The Mist"

“The Mist” is out on DVD today. Written by Stephen King and directed/written by Frank Darabont, it plays on our worst fears about life and death — and to me, that’s why Stephen King keeps jamming out the thrillers year after year.

After a violent storm attacks a Maine town, an approaching cloud of mist envelops the area. A group of people get trapped in a local grocery store -among them, artist David Drayton (Thomas Jane) and his five-year-old son. The people soon discover that within the mist are a bunch of other-worldly creatures that entered through an inter-dimensional rift, which may or may not have been caused by a nearby military base.

Also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Laurie Holden, and Andre Braugher. Take a look at the trailer - I dare you not to be scared:
