Preview & Trailer: "Wristcutters: A Love Story"
Ok, this is interesting. “Wristcutters: A Love Story” is out on DVD today, and with a title like that, you’d hardly think it fits into the genres of comedy, drama, fantasy and romance. But that’s just what its IMDB.com page says. Ok, maybe the drama, but comedy? I haven’t seen this movie, so I’d love to hear comments from anyone who has.
The tagline is “Life is a trip, but the afterlife is one hell of a ride.” The story is set in a strange afterlife way station, reserved for people who’ve committed suicide (Sounds like “comedy,” doesn’t it?! We’ll call it “dark” comedy). It’s been the darling of film festivals in recent years, and garnered a ton of awards, including the Grand Jury Award at Sundance in 2006.
The movie stars Patrick Fugit, Shannyn Sossamon, Shea Shigham, Tom Waits (sold!), Will Arnett, and Leslie Bibb.
Take a look at the trailer. It really does look like a great film, and I’ll be checking out the DVD:

so, scince you haven’t had any comments Ill leave one. This movie is amazing! It’s one of my favorites. At first, I really didn’t want to watch it, but now I’m so glad I did. If you haven’t seen this movie, you should give it a chance. It may surprise you. It did me!
