"The Signal" Preview & Trailer
Ready to run screaming from all the computers, cell phones and techie stuff in the world? Yeah, I’m having a day like that, too. I don’t know if this movie will help or send us on a cross-country killing spree.
“The Signal” from Magnolia Pictures hits theaters tomorrow. It’s New Year’s Eve in the city of Terminus, and a mysterious transmission is invading cell phones, radios, and other forms of communication, turning people into killers. The rebellious Ben must save the woman he loves, but the only way he can tell who to trust is to figure out where “The Signal” is coming from.
Told in three parts from three perspectives, this horror flick was conceived as an experimental film project called Exquisite Corpse (love the name!), where one filmmaker begins a story, then hands it off to another to continue. Directed by David Bruckner, Dan Bush, and Jacob Gentry, it stars Justin Welborn, AJ Bowen, Scott Poythress, Anessa Ramsey, Sahr Ngaujah, Cheri Christian, and Chad McKnight.
Rated R for strong brutal bloody violence throughout, pervasive language, and brief nudity, this movie is definitely not for kids!
