  I like who they chose the vampires (not the vegetarien ones) they r perfectly creepy! everything’s just perfect except bella and edward, the actors chosen have great chemisrty but I think there were better options.

  I see a lot of people suggesting tiny girls to play jane as in children,I never imagined her as a child,but child-like features,her body was discribed as androgynous,this means as in her body looked like a boys body and at first bella thought it was a young boy because her hair was so short but her face was too pretty,full red lips and wide eyes.
  I wish I was an adequate actress to play jane!

  Well, I talked to my agent and she said that I am just what the directors are looking for and if the directors of Twilight decide to start casting for New Moon, she will set me up for an audition. She said that she has no idea why people are getting the idea of her being a little girl. She’s 12. She’s super skinny. And she’s very pale.

  There will be an open audition casting in San Antonio, Texas for New Moon and I think I have a good shot at the part. I have short brown hair, wide eyes, semi full lips, a slim body, and a face that MIGHT be too pretty for a boy. I live inNew braunfels, Texas and the auditions are like 30 mins away so hahaha.

  I would really love to play Jane, and I have no idea how to begin to get recognized. I’m sixteen, but I seriously look like a little kid, I mean I even get the coloring book at restaurants, so there’s something. I’m only 4′6 and have a super tiny body. My lips aren’t incredibly full, but they fit my face. I have very young, soft features. Nothing angular, except my chin. My voice is really high and sounds a lot like a little kid. I have big eyes and brown hair (naturally blonde).

  Alright, just go with me on this, I cant find an email for stephanie meyer or chris weitz because thats how strongly i feel about this… If you have ever watched one episode of FRINGE on fox then you would know of the older eccentric scientist/father played by John Noble. If you have read the entire saga and have seen the show you wopuld know that John Noble is the perfect actor to play ARO of the Volturi.

  I was recently emailed some stuff about the Twilight casting :) The email was semi-informative, so I figured that I’d share it with you guys :) Good luck in all that you do!!

  The Email:

  Since we have been flooded with emails, here are a few words relating to any future casting of the Twilight series:

  Auditions
  Until production gets underway and filming locations are confirmed, no auditions will be taking place anywhere, as the casting and extras casting directors haven’t even been hired. Open casting calls, if there are any, will be announced in the cities where they are taking place. Be patient, grasshoppers!

  By the way, there’s no need to send headshots and resumes to the production company; they’re not doing the casting and your materials will end up in the trash. Let the casting directors sort through the thousands of submissions; that’s not the production company’s job.

  Sequels
  In “New Moon” and any other sequels, it is extremely likely that the actors who are playing the leads in the first film will be coming back to play their respective roles in the sequels. Don’t bother sending the casting directors letters saying “I missed the opportunity to play Alice in ‘Twilight,’ but could I audition for that role in ‘New Moon’?” Not going to happen! ☺

  Lead Roles
  Except in rare and publicized cases, lead roles in big movies are typically destined for established, name actors. Producers have to cast people who are already famous in the leading parts, to raise money and to reassure their investors that people will show up at the box office. That’s just the business. They are also typically required to hire actors who are members of one or more of the acting unions (such as the Screen Actors Guild). If you don’t have a track record, you need to start building one by getting some training, auditioning for smaller projects and adding credits to your resume.

  Location
  99% of the time, producers will not pay to travel an actor to play a role (unless he or she is famous; see above). So, to be considered at all for a role, you should either look for films casting in your area or move to a city where films are being cast, in order to be a local.

  Even if you’re willing to pay to come out for a few days to work on a film, no one wants to take the risk on an out-of-town actor. (What if you miss your flight? What if the shoot keeps getting delayed and you have to replace your plane ticket five times? What if we change the schedule and we need you RIGHT NOW for a wardrobe fitting…and you’re 1000 miles away? What if we fly you all the way out here and it turns out you’re not right for the role or you’re crazy or irresponsible?)

  Yikes! Too much stress in an already stressful business. It’s safer to hire actors we know and love, and who live within the vicinity of the shoot. There is no shortage of willing and available talent in our own backyard. Our job is to reduce the risk of problems for our producers, not increase it. So get to know your local casting directors and start there.

  Extra Work
  This is one thing you can do without acting experience, but keep in mind that you can only work as an extra in the region where you live. If there’s a movie you want to be in and it’s shooting halfway across the world, you need to either move there or have a place to stay for a few weeks (and even then, there’s no guarantee you’ll definitely be needed). Also, for those who have been contacting us from overseas, you need to be able to legally work in the country where the film is shooting. The production company won’t hire you without a valid work permit or proof of citizenship. Unfortunately, those are the breaks!

  uhm, to KP, no. You do NOT have to pay your agent. You shouldn’t have to anyways, or your being ripped off. And you have to let your agent know what’s going on so THEY can set it up for you. NOT you! By the way, does anybody think I could pull off the audition because I have light brown hair and it’s JUST touching my shoulders and I’m 85 lbs. I’m 13. Just wondering because the director called my agent couple days ago and said that I would be perfect for Jane, like, what he’s looking for. He said I look like the image he has in his head. Oh and if anyone could tell me when the auditions in Vancouver, Canada BC are. Thankyou. I need to inform my agent about these auditions

  Look, I am not trying to rain on anyones parade, in fact I think that if you have a dream you should pursue it.
  But, there is a very good chance that all of the roles have been cast.
  It is already January they film in March, if the movie isn’t cast already it will be soon.
  The twilight cast was pick months before the movie was filmed.
  For the record I think that everyone who posted there pick is very pretty if you want to be an actress don’t give up.

  guys, jane is 12 or 13 because aro wanted to change them when they were older but they were being burned at the stake. Get an agent if you want to audition like i did. Just wanted everyone to be cleared up.

  I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were aditions in Canada? It would make sense cause thats where they are filming it. Anyways I would also love to tryout for Jane, for the experience. Without an agent could i still send in my resume and picture? Or do i have to have one to try out?

  I live in San Antonio, Texas and i’ve heard the rumors about the open auditions here!
  I’m 15 and 5′5, I am half italian, and am fluent in Italian (lived in italy for more than half of my life!)
  If Jane would have to speak in italian, I could definently do that!

  I’m not pale but I am light skinned, I have brown eyes and medium length light brown hair..
  i’m 120 pounds

  lol I know that without ANY acting experience and no agent..it would be impossible to get the role…. but a girl can dream right? :)
  Do you think I could fit the part??? lol!

  okay, okay..
  I’m Lani & I’m from Australia.

  Anyways, I’ve studied the characters really closely & have read the Twilight series 6 times.

  1.To put it straight, Stephenie Meyer intended Jane from the Volturi to be childlike, not like a child eg. 12…Jane possibly could of been turned at a ridiculous age of 18 & still be childlike in her features, voice & height.

  2. When Jane is first introduced in New Moon, she is described to be DARKER THAN OLIVED SKINNED because she’s darker than Cacius who is describe to be olived skinned & I know her twin Alec is described as being pale, but you can find pale people darker than olived skinned & it possibly could of meant that he’s lighter than Jane but their features are alike hence the resemblance of being twins, which they are….
  (REMEMBER: Laurent, part of the Nomad Clan was described in the Twilight book as having a french accent, having short dark hair and being olived skinned. However, in the Twilight movie Laurent was a lot darker than olived skinned & had long dark dreads)

  3. And lastly they have not cast Jane just yet (Shauna Powell was a rumour). However the CD’s (casting directors) should be narrowing down all the actors to play roles in New Moon shortly, because they start filming in March & letters, call-backs, Visa’s, work permits, script..etc. should be finalised by the end of Febuary….so this is just an estimated time period, I think that we should see the cast finalised between the end of January through to the middle of Febuary.
  REMEMBER: The CD’s aren’t just casting actors for New Moon, they are also casting for Eclipes, because they are filming back to back.

  Hey, I am so new too this…I am getting frustrated..First I am so happy for anyone being adutioned or even getting their foo in the door. But has anyone heard about audtions for extra, I am not Native American. Totally pale, dark hair, blue eyes 5′1. I want a part. Live in Texas though!!!!
