Vanessa Hudgens to Star in "Will"
High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens has reportedly signed on to star in "Will." There was no information about this movie on IMDb but Coming Soon describes it as a "coming-of-age dramedy about a high school outcast and a popular girl who form an unlikely bond through their shared love of music. They assemble a like-minded crew of misfits and form a rock group to perform in a battle of the bands competition at their school."
Hudgens will be portraying Sam, "a 15-year-old former stutterer who becomes romantically entangled with the lead outcast."
Hmmm… not sure how that sounds to me but I’ll reserve judgment until more details emerge. It will be interesting to see Vanessa Hudgens in something other than the HSM movies.
