X-Men 3-The Last Stand Rocks!!!!
Via Cinemaeye
Today my husband and I took our free passes that we got when we walked out of the crappy blockbuster movie The Da Vinci Code and went to see X-Men 3 The Last Stand.
IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!
You should make sure you see X-Men and X-Men 2 again before you head to the theatre because I found myself having to ask my husband a lot of questions during the movie about certain characters and other details. The special effects were spectacular and the scenery was fun to look at for me since it was shot in Vancouver (my hometown) and I kept recognizing buildings. Although the plot wasn’t too complex this time, it was an exciting 2 hours.
As for the acting, I had no complaints; everyone was great. I was particularly impressed by Kelsey Grammer playing The Beast! He was so much fun to watch, but what’s his mutant special power, shedding on the couch? Eating Cookies?
Don’t forget to wait and watch the ENTIRE credits at the end of the movie because there is a surprise!
I can’t wait to see Wolverine and Magneto, the two proposed prequels to the X-Men series. I hope eventually they come out with an X-Men 4!

I just saw the movie last night with friends. It was entertaining, but I don’t think it had the quality of the first two films. With regards to The Beast’s special powers:
“A brilliant student, McCoy completed his doctoral studies under Xavier’s tutelage, and finally left the X-Men and Xavier’s school to take a position as a genetic researcher with the Brand Corporation. There he developed a serum that acted as a catalyst for activating latent mutations. On drinking the serum McCoy underwent radical physical changes. He grew fur over his entire body, his ears became larger and pointed, and his canine teeth became larger, resembling fangs. The serum also further increased his superhuman agility, endurance, speed, and strength.”

Now I’m looking forward to Ghost Rider, Superman, Spiderman 3 (and I still haven’t watched Fantastic Four)
